Other America Online Phone Numbers:
1-212-206-4400 – Corporate
America Online used to be an important player in the Internet connection business. Now, America Online no longer connects customers to the Internet, but they do offer news and email, while connecting visitors with other America Online merchandises, including Patch, MapQuest, Moviefone and The Huffington Post.
The official website for America Online customer service is http://help.aol.com/help/microsites/microsite.do, but if you’d like to see the main page go to http://www.aol.com/. The website is clearly a news portal site and access page to other America Online properties, but there is also support to customers who need help — but you need to log into your account before getting that help.
If you’re a social type of person and you feel most comfortable connecting with folks on sites like Facebook and Twitter, you will be pleased to find out America Online customer service can be found on multiple social platforms.
Customer Service Email
We found it tough to locate a customer service contact form or email address. There is a feedback page that seems to direct customers to America Online customer service at http://feedback.aol.com/help/aolcomt2/?icid=aolcomt2feedback&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aol.com%2F&ch=us.aolportal, but the links on the page frequently need customers log in to an America Online account before getting customer service.
When we called the America Online customer service phone number recorded on the corporate website, we were greeted with a welcome message and a listing of choices. We pressed 2 for customer service then we were given the option to press 2 for technical support, 3 for billing or 4 to discontinue your account. We pressed 3 for bill and we were greeted with another list of choices. We subsequently attempted pressing 0 to talk with a representative. That connected the call with the agent, but we still waited on hold for over seven minutes.
